Senior Project Manager – Rail & Infrastructure (Madrid)

A leading international engineering consultancy with more than four decades of experience delivering complex transport, rail and large-scale infrastructure projects is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Rail & Infrastructure) to join its team in Madrid. The company provides end-to-end engineering solutions—from feasibility and design to project execution and multidisciplinary coordination—serving both public and private clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage rail and infrastructure projects from conception to delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams (alignment, structures, track, systems, environment, etc.).
• Oversee planning, budgeting, risk management and project reporting.
• Ensure technical quality and compliance with applicable standards, procedures and contract requirements.
• Review and validate design documentation, calculations, BIM deliverables and project specifications.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare technical presentations, reports and decision-support documents.
• Conduct short international missions for project inspections, coordination meetings and progress reviews.
